When one has the chance to use the PumpLocked Platform and the PumpLocked rebuild process for their pump rebuilding, it becomes clear that it is far superior to traditional methods for getting the job done right. Traditional methods open more opportunities for mistakes, while the platform effectively minimizes them. If one handles the rebuilding process with the pump on the ground, it is easy to become disorganized and extremely messy, adding considerable time and cost to the overall rebuilding of a single pump. Increased solvents for cleaning and taking up more space in the shop when you are also dealing with the pump on a table vice are also addressed, since one can do the work directly off the back of a pickup truck, and there is no need for the table vice from now on. Furthermore, it becomes clear how one tech can get the rebuild done on their own and not need a second hand to keep the piston shaft secured on a table vise when you are required to unpack and then repack the Graco packings back on, which requires a considerable amount of torque, making it extremely difficult to get the job done by yourself.

PumpLocked Platform supports Graco displacement pump

Here, the disassembly has begun. You will notice the pump is secured upside down onto the platform, which allows for the easiest and most efficient way to start cleaning any residual material still in the pump. The lower, which has a male cam, is attached to the other side of the platform, which also allows it to be effectively cleaned out. Also, the cylinder with the piston shaft is being prepared to be inserted into the upright tower on the right of the platform.
